Can I use Uni? Poscas to paint very realistic portraits of people & animals on paper Bristol board? Does your DVD show how to blend to make realistic flesh tones?

I do not cover flesh tone in the Vid, but I do cover the technique of the blending. I do pinups chicks and get great blends with the? same techniques , I have seen great realistic paintings of people done with the pens, All done by better artists than me, The pens do not work well on paper, hard surfaces are great. Give them a try, they allow you to work fast. Drew

Thanks for the info. Would it matter if the paper is? coated in some kind of gesso? You see, I make ACEOs, and I don’t know of an economical substitute for the Bristol board, but would love to try the pens.

Great work -? inspiring too, since according to your web site, it means you can afford to travel around the world! I’m a fledgling artist who makes 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ art cards, mostly with Prismacolor pencils (which I hate, since they never cover the paper well enough). So I ordered some paint markers. Will they give true opacity – without sacrificing the fine detail in such small work? Any paint that bleeds into the paper beyond where I put it like an ink marker does would be useless.
